Exchange Server Management Packs and Automatically Monitor Exchange Servers

…не раз меня спрашивали; вот поставили мы Operation Manager импортировали Exchange Management Pack а он не мониторит что-то, что делать?

Я уже рассказывал вкратце как быстренько запустить мониторинг Exchange Server на базе Operation Manager, но вот тут попался пост который описывает ситуацию в которой после импорта Management Pack от Exchange Server ничего не происходит, так что все кто еще озадачен этим вопросом смотрим подробности:

By default, the Microsoft Exchange 2007 Management Packs for Operations Manager 2007 will not automatically start monitoring of any Exchange 2007 Servers even if you have imported the Management Pack. This means that the servers won’t automatically show up in the Exchange views in the monitoring section of the console.

This behavior enables you to start monitoring all your servers immediately, or you can proceed more slowly and enable monitoring of a few Exchange servers at a time.
