Cumulative Update 1 (CU1) for Exchange Server 2013 resolves issues that were found in Exchange Server 2013 since the software was released. This update rollup is highly recommended for all Exchange Server 2013 customers.

CU1 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 provides the latest fixes for Exchange Server 2013 and contains stability and performance improvements. This update enables you to install Exchange Server 2013 in your existing Exchange Server 2010 or 2007 organization.

Note: The CU1 package can be used to perform a new installation, or to update an existing Exchange Server 2013 installation to CU1.
